About us

The Feelgood Foundation was set up in memory of Aimee Postles who tragically passed away 30/04/2021 aged 32.

We are a new charity registered with the charity commission 06/12/2021 (registration number 1196967)

Aimee suffered with a rare complication to Ankylosing Spondylitis (a form of arthritis).  It affected her spine and joints but also her eyes causing uveitis and her heart causing her to require two open heart surgeries to replace heart valves and repair aortic aneurysms. Aimee went through a number of years dealing with this condition. She never let this get the better of her despite the difficulties it posed to her and this was a huge testament to her as a person and her strength of character.

Despite great medical / surgical care and expensive medication the condition continued to cause damage.

We lost Aimee much too early but are determined to celebrate her memory and use this opportunity to help others suffering from this horrendous condition.

The Feelgood Foundation was set up to raise much needed funds for research, treatment and awareness of this complication
